Lessons are 45, 60, or 90 minutes. N.B. A longer lesson does not mean faster progress. Increased practice time and regularity achieve this.

Practicing regularly is perhaps the single most important part of learning an instrument. You should be able to practice most days. If you don't consitantly have this amount of time, you are probably too busy to learn an instrument.

You will need to have a keyboard with fully weighted keys or an acoustic piano at home, or have regular access to one.

I only take beginning guitar students.

You will need an acoustic guitar and a music stand. I highly recommend a classical guitar to start even if you're interested in popular styles: a classical guitar's nylon strings are much easier on beginners' fingers.
